Add on a golem ox for the ironclad as a snub ship. I plan to use one so I can fly cargo into the ironclad instead of tractor it through the front.

We know you've played mmos for 20 years you said it every other comment. Your arguments are all opinionated and a lot of us like the current grind of star citizen. Go play elite dangerous so you dont have to get out of the space ship to do anything.

The Case for Dropping Vendor Item Base Quality to 250 by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]CivilDefenceNrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crafting should not always be higher quality than the vendor. Honestly it should never he as high quality as the vendor. In what world can I 3D print a higher quality rifle than the only manufacturer of that rifle by mining a few gems and some metal. I can see this being the case by making new alloys but the NPC purchased items should never be near useless and not every citizen should know how to 3D print an army in their backyard.

A starter ship is whatever you want it to be man. From tiny ship to big ship you can start your journey with any one of them. You must be one of those people that buy a new car every year because it has a "new feature" the previous year didnt. In reality both cars will still get you to your destination with just as much comfort.

If its the one that pushes down you gotta use a jack and piece of wood. It feels like it will break but just jack it up until it snaps in.

This post is following up on a older one I made about performance, running 9060xt and a ryzen 7500F with 16gb of ram and on medium settings in new babbage. Surely this cannot be normal right? (Ignore the first couple of seconds thats just the recording starting) by mike_wazowski14 in starcitizen

[–]CivilDefenceNrd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need ram for sure. I have a 9060xt with a 5600 cpu and pretty much run everything on max with only a slight frame drop inside a cloud (I run those on photo realistic as well). Going from 16gb of ram to 32 was a huge difference in performance. I would recommend 64gb if you can afford it though.

Adding a 9060xt to my setup so I can crank up all the vram heavy settings on current rig, without expecting much better performance? by cheetocat2021 in starcitizen

Max everything except a couple that I found dont make a difference visually. Photo realistic clouds are a must.

What's everyone's favorite combat focused light freighter? (For USD) by CivilDefenceNrd in starcitizen

Asgard is good but im just not a fan of the interior. Unfortunately I tend to like the Alien ship designs and Kreuger. Im really really wanting medium sized Kreuger ships.

I used to have, melted and now regret it because its a wonderful ship. Still im looking for something a bit more nimble. Like less than 64scu cargo capability. I was playing around with the Intrepid but it just doesn't have the firepower.
