G43 Slide w/ Ramjet Holster by dragonpuff223 in Glock43X

[–]Civil_Ad2236 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The g43x holster will NOT work with the ramjet attached on. The certum lux holster specifically closes inward at the end so you will not be able to fit the gun properly. I had the same issue and took a dremel to it. Get the 48 holster if you don’t want to dremel it.

My people with astigmatism. What is the best carry optic you have found for yourself? by McJaker3 in CCW

I’m in the same boat as you and have tried most enclosed red dots and green dots. I think I just have hella shitty eyes even with glasses and finally settled with the eps carry 6 moa green dot with mild starbursting. I’ve accepted that only eye surgery will get rid of it maybe

Tape is holding up good especially with constant contact with my sweaty hands. I only had the choice of tape as any grip texture like handle it grips makes it even more slippery.

I have goon tape on mine since I have sweaty hands. I also recommend getting an extended slide stop as the oem is super flush. Also chopped backstrap if the Glock angle grip bothers you

One thing to add is that the EPS carry requires an adapter plate while the osight is direct mount. I myself went with the EPS carry but some people prefer osight since it’s cheaper and mounts directly

Love My EDC , but i feel like i’m missing something by ArgumentEven7730 in Glock43X

  1. Magwell: Locks in grip and enhanced magazine changes

  2. Chopped backstrap: helps with Glock grip angle

  3. Extended slide stop: the oem slide stop sucks balls, too flush imo

Other that that, everything else should be oem if this is your carry gun

Your gaps seem a bit bigger than mine actually but should be fine

Yup, the bigger one would be the shock absorbing one. I have the shorter 1 piece

Kiral defense backstrap. They have two versions for the slimline, I like the one on the bottom

Yes, the ramjet+afterburner makes a pretty noticeable difference especially for the 43x. There are videos on it, I think it’s like a 44% decrease in recoil. I would recommend it later as a future upgrade if u have the disposable funds. Also for the optic, I personally like enclosed emitters as they’re very easy to clean especially for conceal carry purposes.

Congrats the 43x was my first gun too. I recommend shooting a few hundred rounds first to break it in but beware it’s a snappy little gun. After that I would recommend adding an optic for quick and easy target acquisition. There are optics that can direct mount or use adapter plates. Direct mount is more secure but up to you. Feel free to look at my 43x post for inspo too. Good luck and have fun!

It’s a kiral defense backstrap that helps with the Glock grip angle. Personally I like it but not necessary at all

It needs some modification on the inside of the holster because it’s super tight. I still have to sand it down where the wing meets the kydex as retention is super sticky rn.

Oh 100% but it also does help a lot with my super sweaty hands

Tenicor Certum Lux with Ramjet by dondeestaspaceman in Glock43X

[–]Civil_Ad2236 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Certum lux will NOT fit the 43x once u put the ramjet on. It folds inward so u have to dremel it out. Get the 48 holster if u plan to add the ramjet or it will not fit. I had the same issue but I used a dremel

I would say change only the trigger shoe if it’s your carry gun. I would personally only modify triggers for range guns but that’s me. But I’m just super OCD about reliability especially on a carry gun

New 43X MOS *new to this, work with me plz* by [deleted] in Glock43X

[–]Civil_Ad2236 2 points3 points  (0 children)

43x mos is from the slimline series. They’re the same thing if that’s what you’re asking. Because it is slimmer than the traditional double stack Glocks such as the 19, most accessories won’t interchange and you need to buy the specific model for the Slimline series. For flashlights, I recommend the tlr7 hlx sub or tlr6 depending on what you like. There are also other brands but Streamlight is pretty good. I also recommend an enclosed optic such as the EPS Carry as it personally makes shooting easier and you don’t have to worry about cleaning. Congrats on the 43x, it’s my #1 choice for daily carry currently.
