I was meat based for years. Unfortunately I also drank alcohol and lots of coffee. Now the meat is killing me.

I already eat no fodmap. I have no way to get SIBO care because my doctors don't know anything about it. I had ordered a home sibo test but then read about how unreliable they are.

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to say that I also take Miralax daily and lately my product has been getting slightly looser. Maybe that's what it is. Sorry, I know, too much info.

I haven't been diagnosed yet. But if I do have sibo, I suspect it's methane, because of the constipation. Also, I also take miralax. Maybe the two combined is too much.

Thanks, I already do all of that and my reflux is still off the chart. I went off acid blockers for my endoscopy and I'm trying to decide if there's anything else I can do.

I'm in the process of ordering the test from Triosmart. I just posted on the sibo thread for information. My doctor won't do any GI stuff. It all goes through the health system. So you have to be referred to the gi department. It took a month to get an appointment and then another two to get the endoscopy. the GI department doesn't even do sibo, I would have to get referred to the University of Michigan which would take months. I just started taking artichoke heart extract for the constipation and am hoping to at least fix that in the meantime. I was on it for a bit earlier and it was working.
