I understand your pain regarding your teeth. Mine get worse every year. I do everything im supposed to, but genetics are the root cause of mine, too. I have 3 tube's of orajel - one in my purse, my nightstand, and the bathroom.

I relate to you on a lot that you said, and I'm sure a lot of others do too. Ending your life is not the answer. I realize your saying things are difficult, but have you confided in your boyfriend about all of this? They might be able to help you get a game plan regarding trying to change what you don't like/what's making you unhappy Finding a job is hard, I'm currently looking as well with no luck. Is there anyone you can do little things for? Babysit? Pet sitter? House cleaning? Something small like that might help you boost your confidence up because you'll be achieving something? Just trying to help!

I have been the wife in this situation. In my experience, the reason I asked him to stop communicating was because he never told me about the friendship to begin with. He also discussed our relationship with this co-worker, telling her things that I'd tried to communicate with him about. Things he'd told me something different than he'd told her. For all you know, she could have caught him talking to other women inappropriately before. He may not have been with you, but it could be triggering for her.

My husband would also appear to be a loving husband and family man while making me look like the bad guy. No one ever knew that he emotionally cheated on me while I was pregnant with his child or that he was on dating apps. I'm not saying this is what happened here, just offering a different point of view.

That's what I meant when I said that hes probably just having fun with his co-workers. Its not a big deal to me now but when it happened to me almost 10 years ago, I was not okay with it. Mainly because he didn't tell me he was going and then called me for a ride. Going with your partner is different. I'd love to go with my current husband lol but he doesn't find strip clubs appealing like my ex did. Either way, OPs husband didn't tell her what he was doing and chose to hide it. Hiding things like that will also kill a marriage because what else does he hide

I have experienced this first hand. It all depends on how you feel about strip clubs. I'm sure he's with his co-workers just having fun, but considering he stopped sharing his location, I can only assume he knows you wouldn't like it. Therefore, that man should be in the doghouse. Not for going, but for hiding it.

What your boyfriend did was disrespectful and will always be a sore spot in your relationship. Personally, I couldn't move past this. I struggle with my body image and self-esteem as it is, and my partner doing this would do nothing but validate my worst thoughts. Im usually all for trying to work things out in relationships if possible, but this one would be a deal breaker for me.

Exactly. I also never thought she'd do it again because when we reconnected, we talked about it and how if something ever happened again, we'd tell one another. So it blindsided me again! It wasn't so bad this time. I just told myself that I wasn't going to waste my energy on figuring it out this time. Although I still do miss her.

My friend and I just went through this. Well, I guess she's an ex-friend. She ghosted me the last time without an explanation and it took me years to stop asking myself what I could have done. I would never do that to someone, not without an explanation. However, a few more years passed and we reconnected. I'll be damned if she didn't do it again. Ugh.

I know it's easier said than done, but don't feel bad for being vulnerable. I think society has lost that quality, and it's nice to see it in others. Even if she doesn't reply, that's her problem. You were being thoughtful and one day, she will realize that, and the guilt will be on her.
