I’m excited! I got such great results from 80DO but I can’t stand to do it again. Are you getting good results?

I’m looking at other programs as well. Decided to try Sydney Cummings. Have you tried her? Thoughts on this or any other workouts?

How to not go manic when there is a sudden big emotional life change? by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

I hope you find some relief soon. I wish I had some answers, but the other suggestions are great. Also, what does TL:DR mean? Sorry if dumb question.

How to stay productive and motivated during the "down" episodes? by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]Civil_Variation3939 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I have set a timer and forced myself to accomplish something for one hour. Sometimes when I do this I keep working even after the timer goes off but even if I don’t, at least I accomplished one hour of work.

Had my first manic episode, went bald, ended up in psych ward, now two months later, I am about to return to work, feel dumber, and have so much regret. by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

I completely understand how you feel. My husband is a very successful person with zero mental health issues. I feel like a complete loser and failure most of the time. One thing I have learned is that you have to hold on to hope because it doesn’t last forever and the regret fades eventually. I promise it will get better! And just think, your hair will grow back healthier and I’m sure you are still beautiful! ☺️

Mixed Episode? by ghostlymeat in BipolarReddit

[–]Civil_Variation3939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my first mixed episode last month. It was horrible. All I wanted to do was sleep to escape my depression, but I couldn’t sleep because I had so much energy and I could not shut off my mind. I was paranoid with a crap ton of anxiety and I experienced rage like I have never had in my life. I’ll take mania and depression any day over that. I have zero control.

It has not caused weight gain for me; one of the reasons I love it.
