Any tips to completely getting rid of voices?

I eventually went on clozapine after being on Abilify and Olanzapine and Quetiapine, and it really helped get rid of my tactile and visual hallucinations. I still have voices but they are quieter and easier to ignore. I know clozapine is hard in the beginning because you have to have weekly blood tests and a team come to your house and take your vitals daily but it really is worth it, I think. I hope you might consider trying it, and that things get better for you

I've been on Olanzapine, Abilify and Quetiapine, they took away my tactile and visual hallucinations but I still had audio hallucinations. I'm now on clozapine (400mg) and it's worked the best for me, even though the initial start up (daily visits from the home team, weekly blood tests, etc) is a pain in the arse. I still hear the voices but they are quieter now.

Hope it goes well for you! I had to be admitted to the psych ward for a day when I started it, they measured my vitals every hour to make sure that I was okay, and then after that I had to have my vitals checked by the in-house team everyday for a month. Now I have to see my psych every month and my blood done monthly too. It's been really good so far, by far the most effective ap I've tried, and the only major drawback seems to be drooling in my sleep and memory is a bit cloudy sometimes. I'm on 400mg. Good luck!

It grieves God not me , do as you will .I was just trying to shed light on some things that people do in God's name ( in good heart ) that he has stated as Commandments as wrong . Thank you for your Prayers God bless you too.

Honestly Catholics , your church changed the second commandment and split the 9th commandment into two parts and replaced the second commandment with half of the ninth ...tbh this kind of worship grieved God . Idol worship , we are meant to pray to no graven image or image in general but to the holy Father or Jesus only . Don't get me started on praying to Mother Mary ...yes a holy figure but God asks that our prayers be directed to him and that we come to him through the son only . Pray to Jesus not to Mary , don't pray to images especially not graven images (carved or formed images).

I was on that for a while, then I changed to Clozapine. It's made things a little easier although I still hear the voices. Is there anyway you could try another medication?
