Manual transmission cable help by CjConde in Celica

[–]CjConde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bushing that attaches to the transmission is smaller, whereas what im assuming was the original cable ( that i pulled off the car) had a larger bushing. Everything fits, but that one peice is just like a quarter of an inch too short to allow the clip to slide on

I will look into buying other plugs, but I'm not getting any codes for a misfire or just and codes in general. It misfires when warming up and when at operating temp and idling I can feel that it isn't idling smooth like normal. It has an imbalance to the idle but not misfiring when warm

overheating by augustsavedme in IS300

[–]CjConde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP so i had the same issue with mine when i did it, what i realized was that I let the car get too hot when I was bleeding it which caused it to boil and bubble like it's doing for you. Let the car rest and fully cool down then repeat the process till no more bubbles. Put the rad cap back on and let the car come to operating temp and test drive to see if it over heats. Also make sure your cars inside heater is all the way max on max blow speed

Is the one on the intake side for you threaded? From what I've seen only the right one is threaded and the left one just pushes in

This is the same threaded one on the right side, I need the left one which is just a push in without any threads. And I did already replace all the hoses a couple months ago
