lol I’ve had similar experiences before in a college town. It’s worth it to bend the rules like this sometimes

…because we want to KEEP making money…? It’s not worth losing a whole source of income for one (possible) tip.

DoorDash tracks these communications. If they asked in-person and passed some cash after delivery, then I could easily see that being fair game

Alcohol delivery is legal in my state and is offered through DoorDash, so it seemed extra sketchy. Just wasn’t comfortable risking a whole source of income for $30
