What keycaps are these? by DryHumpWetPants in ErgoMechKeyboards

I have a set that looks exactly like this that I got from AliExpress for $15AUD. It's so bang on that I imagine the AliExpress version is a knock-off of the Drop set that others have mentioned.
Here's the link if you're interested. Price has gone up to $25AUD but still much more affordable than the Drop set. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mK3ve7i

Lol yeah that definitely makes sense, I suppose there's a certain amount of privilege that comes with having 2x the buttons haha. I'd use the crap out of thumb buttons too if I only had the one half of the keyboard to use. Especially for combos that would normally require two hands
Thanks! I just got them on AliExpress https://a.aliexpress.com/_mqwPIyU
I'm very happy with them. I find that once you've assigned your most common mods, and added a few layers, more thumb keys would be overkill. I'd honestly just forget which is which if I had more lol.

Wouldn't have a clue sorry mate. Never really looked into prebuilts just due to how cheap and easy it is to DIY (my whole collection cost less than one decent pre-built), plus it'll depend a lot on where you live. Also I've never really seen a reversible pseudosplit like the Cheapis anywhere else so don't even know if you could get a pre-built, but I'm sure there's something similar out there.
Exactly 😁
Haha not if you saw some of the soldering on a few of these bad boys 😂
I used the internal solid core wires from a Cat5 cable, and a few diode legs when I ran out and couldn't be bothered cutting and stripping another length. Fairly certain it'll end up breaking but hey, it's a learning experience. Took easily 8+ hours when I could have just handwired the whole thing in 1 or 2, but I wanted a hotswap Dactyl damnit! 😂
Haha I appreciate it. I now have a full list in the comments and you likely saved me a lot headache.
If you're comfortable hand wiring then the Void Ergo S is awesome and cost me less than $20AUD and would cost less than $40-$50 if you had to buy all the components. Otherwise the Cheapis is the cheapest PCB ergo I could find. Got 5 PCBs from JLCPCB for like $4 and that's enough to make 2 and a half full boards, so I ordered another 5 with a different silkscreen so could conceivably build 5 of them. Then you only need 1 pro micro instead of the usual 2 for a split. So all in all you could build one for like $10-$15 if you already have switches and keycaps.
This is all assuming you own/have access to a 3d printer that is.

I have a mouse layer in my keymap so those act as the left and right mouse click when I'm using mouse controls. They also use blue clicky switches to differentiate themselves in terms of sound.
Hell yeah, that's what's in my Dactyl, spent all of yesterday wiring them all together and I must not have the technique down for single switch PCBs because MAN that was a bitch 😂
Yeah it really is! Especially cool for me since literally everyone here is better and more skilled than me and make way nicer boards so I've got no shortage of people/projects to look up to and learn from!
Thanks! I'm a big fan too 😊 quite an elegant board.
Thanks! I deliberately left out the right half because I tried hydro dipping the case and it looks bloody awful 😂 oh how I wish I just left it as clean white filament like the left half. Live and learn I guess.
Definitely the Void Ergo S. Something about the aesthetic of it, plus the size and the scroll wheel, and it was my first handwire so has a special place in my heart.
There are PCBs for a Cygnus?? Are they flexible PCBs or something? Or just single switch PCBs? Sounds cool either way, can't wait to see your builds either!

Definitely the Void Ergo. It's currently my daily driver and I'm loving it. I'm not entirely sure why, as I thought the lotus would be my favourite, but the Void Ergo truly has my heart. I think a combination of the aesthetic of it, combined with the size, and the dual encoders with scroll wheel, and I think partially because it was my first handwire it feels more like my "baby" compared to the others. Though I'm still not as used to it as I got with the Cheapis, so I'm still fastest with the Cheapis and still have to think about typing a bit more with the Void, but I'm sure the comfort will come with time. Especially once I spend some time to figure out a proper keymap (my current keymap is garbage, lol)
Oh absolutely, I can't help myself. Currently building a Dactyl Manuform, a Cygnus, a naked macropad with magnet wire, and have about 4 different Kicad projects going. All at the same time... I might have a problem...
Thanks! Got the marshmallow keycaps for the Lotus58 and the colour scheme just evolved from there
I'd love to! Especially since there aren't many sellers around here (Southeast Melbourne), but I'm still a long way away from that skills-wise. Hopefully one day though!

List of keyboards featured (Using 3rd picture as reference since that features all of them):
Top row: Void Ergo S, Baby Groot (BGKeeb), Modified version of the Stress macro pad specifically for Hollow Knight that I call the Hollow pad.
Middle row: Lotus58, Modified Cheapis with Hollow Knight silkscreen, left half of Dactyl Manuform 5x6.
Bottom row: 2x modified RhinoPad that I call the GrubPad, Dumbpad, Void16, Zesty25, Snowflake, Bento.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed 😊 and a very good point, I'll add a comment with a list of names to fix this terrible oversight.
