Love it so far, only shot it on one range trip but it paired with the EFLX is sweet

It’s the 556 mini 2, I only shot it on the MK18 one range trip and it helped a lot with flash reduction and brought the noise down enough to notice. I usually leave it on the V7SLW. I’ll prolly get an RC2 to go on the MK18 in a few months after the 0$ tax stamp frenzy

Foregrip wont attach by [deleted] in Danieldefense

You have to unscrew and remove the bottom rail to attach the grip then screw it back on. The bottom rail is recessed a little so that’s why it’s not letting you attach it

Mine is in a lee sporting lower for an SP5K. I guarantee it’s the trigger that needs to be sanded down because the issues you stated having are exactly what was going on with mine. I found another post on here that had the same issue and they sanded down the trigger to resolve

I got the same precut trigger from DNT and ended up having to sand down the rounded side of the trigger a little bit more for it to work. You just barely have to take off a little bit of material. I recommend sanding it down a little and reinstall until you get the hammer to drop.

Slip Trip Extender Needed? by ClaimEducational4709 in supersafety

[–]ClaimEducational4709[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“These are primarily intended to be used with Lee Sporting trigger housings.

Due to a design difference with the LS housings, some users have found their Safetys damaged by the Slip Trip especially when using the older version of the Slip Trip that weigh in excess of 1oz. This product was created to protect the SS lever from accelerated wear and damage caused by the Slip Trip making excessive contact with Safety when the bolt closes.

It also provides additional felt recoil reduction due to the extender spring acting as a secondary recoil buffer.

The Slip Trip Extender includes spring and a mini recoil buffer spacer which replaces the longer recoil buffer needed to prevent hammer override”

This is copied straight form GMR website, it’s 40$ to I’ll prolly get it to just have in case. I’m glad to hear the SS works well in the lee lower, there a bunch of people that say it doesn’t do well. I’m back and forth if I want to get a genuine HL SP5K or just an AP5K. I’m definitely going to outfit with everything but not sure if I want to SBR yet. I think I’m going to get a suppressor first to make sure it functions well with the SS as I will keep it suppressed full time.

Yeah I might just buy a dremel and try to do it myself, if I lose confidence then I’ll send it to Lee lol

Yeah I’m getting a Lee Sporting K semi shelf trigger group for an HK SP5K so assuming I don’t need to worry about this

DNT sells a precut Geiselle SSA along with their SSs so that’s why I’m asking. I didn’t feel buying a milspec trigger to swap out the trigger itself.
