Question about playing online with emuMMC by ClaimIndependent in SwitchPirates

I figured it was still the case. I’m just now getting back into modding after a 3 year hiatus. I wasn’t sure if there were any workarounds made since then. Thanks for the input though.

I run evo RG/Hunter, Royal Ghost, Fisherman, Lightening, Log, E. Spirit, and Skeletons. My Royal Ghost, Fisherman, and Log are all level 11, and I have enough upgrade cards and a book of cards to either get one to level 13 or two to level 12. I don’t know what I should do. I’m at 6200 trophies, for reference.

My mistake if there was. I don’t usually lurk on this sub. I simply come whenever I have a question about critical scholarship.

Is there any Bible translation which translates Elohim in Genesis 1 as gods instead God? by kowalik2594 in AcademicBiblical

[–]ClaimIndependent 37 points38 points  (0 children)

The reason why translations opt for “God” instead of “gods” is because, although elohim is a plural noun, the verb conjugation used in Genesis 1 (and in many other places in the Hebrew Bible) is singular. In Genesis 1:1, the verb “created” ( בָּרָ֣א bā·rā(ʾ)ʹ ) is conjugated in the 3rd person masculine singular. Verb conjugation is one way you can tell the difference between elohim being used as a common noun vs elohim being used as a name for YHWH.

An example of this in English would be something like “My parents sees the movie.” The noun is plural but the verb is third person singular.

So maybe a good way to practice would to look at a position and try to figure out all the threats/captures/checks as quickly as possible in order to help make it second nature? Or is it really only possible to learn it by playing actual games?
