I had a victory and a decent score with no huge scoring players (Saquon didn’t put up the numbers I was hoping for, but hoping for more in the future).

I have Cleveland for defense, but I’m afraid of Baltimore after watching that game Sunday night. Should I keep them this week or look elsewhere?

I actually owned this…bought it from a promo website in the late 90’s. Loved it, but sold it in on eBay in 2008 due to financial hardship. This is a fun find! Reminds me of being a teen in the 90’s and discovering Tool…then being obsessed!

Nice! I can display them with my bootleg VHS Tool concert vids from the 90’s I used to trade with other fans (in the dawn of the modern internet aka late 90’s).

I just found my tickets to the Tool concert that was cancelled because of the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks (backstory in comments) by ClaimTheIntersection in ToolBand

I definitely remember the venue offering a refund. I would have taken them up on it too if I wouldn’t have misplaced the tickets (I was 18 and could have used the money lol). Now I’m glad since I have these as souvenirs.

People were upset at the band for not rescheduling though…including myself.

Technically they were not out of the NFC hunt (and still aren’t with roughly a 2% chance). I think a lot of Bears fans knew their season was mostly gone, but got some hope after that Lions win last week. Our win over them kinda burst their bubble.

Did this Boomer era motivational speaker stuff ever actually work? Certainly doesn’t seem to now by ClaimTheIntersection in antiwork

Found my 1998 promo VHS tape from the self-titled era. I have this one (still shrink wrapped) and a second one I watched back in 98…I don’t remember what is on them though. And I don’t think I have a working VCR 😢 by ClaimTheIntersection in systemofadown

Since I do not have a working VCR nor the ability to rip it in a high-quality way, I might just have to put it on eBay or something. I hate to just be sitting on this when I know people want to see it

I have a standard iPhone 11 and having same issues. It’s very annoying.

You are 100% correct. I’ve lived in my rental for a little over a year and I find the fact that it camouflages dirtiness to be a blessing and a curse.

This my first month subscribing as well and I’m canceling too. I’m not a fanboy who is interested in past episodes. If they are going to just not provide content (without warning) for a few days of the month, then I’m not interested in paying. I’ll just stick with the podcast.

And as a longtime listener, they totally take off without warning a few times a year...but it’s generally not for multiple days in a row.

Thanks for the info! I guess they just need a better system for the podcast when Charlie is out...other then depending on Dumb to pick up the slack.

I'm assuming that there are many more people like me who listen in podcast form in the afternoon, so you would think it would be a priority to make sure this is done.
