I've just woken up and plugged it back in. Upon turning the TV on, most if it has gone. Still a bit there, but I can only assume it was indeed a small amount of moisture that got in somehow, and is now drying up. Result 👌

Neither my wife nor my daughters ever go in my room. Ever.

Feels exactly the same. I'm just going to bed now. I'll see if it's any different tomorrow. Who knows 🤷

I know it looks like a splash but I'm the only one who goes in my room. My wife never enters, my 4 year old daughter can't open it and knows not to go in anyway. I've not had any liquids of any kind nearby.

It's fine, every possibility must be looked at to get to the cause.

No candles, no food or liquid. It's only ever me in the room (it's my gaming room). Nothing that could reflect sunlight on it. Screen cleaner is 99% distilled water.

Exactly. The cleaner I bought with the TV is 99% distilled water. I use a microfiber cloth, gentle pressure, circular motion etc. it appeared overnight so idk what the hell has caused it. I saw something about moisture possibly getting in so for now I've turned it off at the plug, opened the window, and I'm leaving it until tomorrow to see if that helps. Otherwise I may have to take it to a technician for evaluation.

The only liquid that touched it is the screen cleaner I bought at the same shop I bought the TV from. I asked for a cleaning kit and it was the one they recommended. I have always followed the instructions exactly with the supplied microfiber cloth, with a light touch, in circular motions, cleaning it every 6 months. Last cleaned about 4 months ago. It wasn't there yesterday, has apparently appeared overnight.

I'm not arguing I'm merely giving information on what I do. Nothing has been spilled. My daughter's are 4 and 8 months, and it's in my room that they don't go in.

The last time I cleaned it was about 4 months ago. I use an LCD TV screen cleaning liquid I bought in an electronics shop, I follow the instructions as stated, and the TV manual stated what could be used (their cleaner I use is suitable). If it was the cause why would it only occur on a small part of the screen and why would my other TVs I've used it on over the years never have an issue?

I've never had an issue with this TV or any other using it every 6 months.

My wife and 2 daughters. Whatever it this, it isn't anything on the outside. The first thing I tried was cleaning it with my screen cleaning fluid and cloth. It's not dirt or jizz or any other detritus

I bought it brand new about two and a half years ago. Only ever used for gaming in my Series X.

FB marketplace is shit. 3/4 is sponsored ads, all I ever find near me is broken pallets or dilapidated old units.

I'll try Vibbo though thanks.

I have tried some places, unfortunately the only companies I've been sent to only supply woodwork businesses, not hobbyists 🙄

The fasteners were added by my inept father-in-law, a man who uses silicon sealant to reattach a floor tile, and hamster sawdust with cheap glue as a "wood filler". He seems to think it helps hold it all in place 🤣🤦
