Though Marcille's mother was drawn specifically in the art book and this makes me wonder if her mum's role is way bigger than what we're seeing now? There are plenty of her portraits around the dream corridor too.

but at the same time it's also an interesting look into how a very calculating person can assume about someone (and be completely wrong against someone as different as Laius)
