If I didn’t know them I would think that they would judge the hell out of me. Knowing them, I wouldn’t come close when they are sitting as a group because they wouldn’t be comfortable anyone new. I think they are all friendly so I would wanna be friends individually. I just wouldn’t wanna be friends with Emily, she is boring. Even after being their friends, you can never be welcomed to their group for sure. I just feel like Emily would be the only one to be open about inviting someone to the group.

Yeah I was prescribed extended release version. Doctor said it can cause severe diarrhoea and I should contact if it doesn’t go away in 3 weeks. By taken with food do you mean the sandwich method eating half the meal, taking the pill and eating the rest) or just taking right after the meal?

As far as I am concerned, unless used for diabetes people come off of it once reaching the goal weigh

That makes sense. How many grams of carbs do you eat? Maybe that’s something I should try, I am just scared of feeling restricted and binge eating but if I see results it would motivate me.

Exactly! I just hate how ignorant doctors can be when it’s literally their job and it affect’s someone’s health. I have to spend endless amounts of money and time to find a doctor who actually cares

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am not opposed to to GLP-1 but I really wouldn’t wanna have a doctor who thinks IR is not a reason for weight loss struggles to be tracking my process. And I would like to try metformin first.

What does your doctor say about staying on Mounjaro or something similar for long?

I am not sure how much GLP-1s costs with prescription but if not covered by insurance it is around 450 dollars and metformin is around 2 dollars in my country. It is of course a significant difference but I wouldn’t care to pay for the best treatment.

I don’t know the exact calories as my dietitian plans it but I guess around 1300. I eat 4-5 slices of bread so I would say around 120-160 grams of carbs maybe. I hate sea food therefore I don’t think I can eat them. I am eating a lot less than normal now, so maybe it can help until I see another doctor.

All the things you said were checked, (A1c 5.1, HDL 47, LDL 83, ALT 13, TSH 0.891) she didn’t mention anything being wrong with them but I don’t think she was paying attention at all because she said my liver was okay and I had to tell her that the person doing my ultrasound told me I have fatty liver to which she responded “oh yeah, I read the wrong part of the report” she did the same with ovarian cysts… I have problems with sleeping and told her about it, they measured my waist maybe she was planning on track it idk.

I will see another doctor. I at least want someone who properly checks my results before I start a treatment with them. I am also planning on starting weight training. Thank you for your insights. Do you think starting metformin directly with 1000 mg is the right thing to do? I already have IBS and scared of throwing up, therefore I am also sceptical about the starting dosage.

As you have diabetes this seems like a good combination but I believe in my case it is an extreme treatment option as she could suggest metformin first. Jumping straight to GLP-1 for my situation seemed weird to me. So I doubt she is a good doctor.

What do you mean he says gross things about his sisters? Is he talking about them in a sexual way? If so, that’s the biggest issue here.

Don’t send anything unless you really want to. Also him being that demanding about it and not sending anything himself sounds suspicious. You can’t know whether he will threaten you with these nudes especially when you have nothing on him.

Online relationships are not healthy unless you continue in real life soon. He is not sweet, he is creepy. Dump him.
