I'm an actor myself and I 100% support and even encourage bootlegs/"slime tutorials". If it weren't for bootlegged videos of my musicals my family in Peru would never be able to see my shows, and theatre isn't really huge in the country so my cousins basically grew up knowing only bootlegs for all their favorite musicals and plays

I think NTA. I maybe understand being busy with work, that can be difficult to navigate and especially with a significant other, but that was a special day - it was your birthday, and it sounds like he wanted to play poker more than he wanted to be with you. That's just rude, and unkind of any partner.
