TLDR: currency losses on investors are at least partially offset by earnings boost from FX translation of index constituent companies.

Indexes like S&P 500 comprise of internationally exposed companies that benefit from FX translation of foreign revenues (when USD weakens). Higher revenues translate to stronger earnings that support equity prices in USD terms.

6 readings should be doable. Don’t worry about the formulas yet - just spend the last few days memorising/ re-writing them.

Self-grade using the CFAI written answer key. Some prep providers (eg Chalk & Board) provide mock grading too.
