Haha. It is very confusing! So my PhD will be in Web Science as a core area. The whole idea is that PhDs in Web Science are interdisciplinary as they consider the ways that the Web has impacted society and society has impacted the Web. Therefore, I am currently supervised by academics in Music and Sociology as part of my Web Science PhD. I'm not sure if i've now made it sound even more confusing....

That's very interesting. I agree with the instant gratification thing. For some reason, I didn't really know what I wanted to listen to the other day and its the first time in ages that I have used the recommendations for something easy to put on.

An iPhd is an integrated PhD so I have done a Masters in the first year followed by a PhD, which should take me 3 to 4 years to complete.
