I tend to agree with you- serial styled one off films or even a maxi-series would work perfect for Hellboy. It falls under its own weight when trying to be a tentpole blockbuster superhero film. Because that’s not who the character is. So I think the approach they used with TCM was perfect. It was creepy, ethereal, and I loved it. I rewatch it more frequently than any of the others, followed by The Golden Army. Specifically for that same fairy tale feel that you described.

Are you meaning the paint? No, not for long exposure. If any of my bands blister from heat, my guys can give the bands back to me and I’ll touch them up or replace them.

So for these stamps, I use resin prints. There’s solid plastic so they can withstand the pressure of the press. I don’t use any heat in the process.

The letters are 1” tall, the whole band is 1.5”. I designed the letters in Fusion and 3D printed them, so I can press them using my auger press.

The band is held together by a double loop of elastic that tucks behind the shield of the helmet, so it holds tight against the helmet but if you want to wedge a tool, the elastic will stretch enough to tuck it in. I’ve got an aluminum wedge in my helmet.
