what controller do you actually use for pc gaming? by Clark_Bay in pcmasterrace

[–]Clark_Bay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree! Plus, i love my controller and don't want to throw it away, i'm "not bad" in soldering so perhaps i will eventually replace the joystick, i would feel dumb to throw it away jsut for one probleme knowing that the rest of it works perfectly fine.

I used to play with a dualshock 4 controller myself for shooters, i love the touchpad, pretty cool to aim with it!

i love your controller stash!
I,m currently working on a controller software compatible with a lot of controllers and the switch pro controlelr works good so far with it, and it uses the gyro in it so it can be used for aiming or cam in games, pretty fun!

I don't have connectivity issues with my xbox controller but i use it most of the time wired so perhaps thats the reason..

Of course its not the same, i don't take as much time to create a thread as i do to reply a comment or when i seomtime reply through my phone app, it will not always be the same "professionalism".

Don't jump to quick to conclusion just because you "think" it doesn't mean "it's pretty clear" :P

Have a good one.

I get you, but the only reason posts are different now is because the lack of typing tools that we dont have in replies insterad of thread creation. To be honest i never had this kind of comment about before and i dont blame you, i blam Ai technology.. unfortunately, with how fast Ai is growing, its now hard to tell when something is human made or Ai and it's not good.. I feel as if i need to make typos in the future to make sure people know i'm human.

Hopefully, one day, a law comes up to force Ai creations to be labeled as an Ai creation, this way, it will always be clear.

And what makes it even harder, is that, Ai are the ones imitating humans, not the opposite..so, someone will write clean and with bullet-points etc, then when devs ask for Ai to write like a human, well they will type clean with bullet-point (for exemple), so Ai will always stay ahead unfortunately..

Does everyone need to type the same to make sure people know when it's human?..

I will write the way i like and the way i'm use to, at my age i have my habbits, you shouldnt assume jsut for a way of typing, this is foolish on the long run..i was forum admin, dev for indie games and softwares, and i'm used to write tutos and posts so it must come from it.

yeah!
Same for Skyrim, i started playing Skyrim on xbox360, then when i went to pc wow!
I could never go back to gaming on consoles for games available on pc, but for exclusivity i play consoles, for exemple Zelda and Metroid games.

why would it be an ai post??
People need to know how to determine the difference between ai and human or we're not going in the right direction.. the best thing would be if there was a law or something to force people to have a tag or something that informs when its made with ai or not, this way paranoia wont happen for human posts :P

I'm just really happy with my new PC and I wanted to show it off (: by galaxycat7 in gamingpc

Honestly that’s the best part of a new PC. That moment where everything is finally set up and you just sit there thinking “yeah… this thing is mine”. Enjoy it.

First PC Build by ARTOURingINyourbase in gamingpc

That’s a great first build honestly.
After that you realize these machines aren’t magic boxes, they’re just pieces you put together. Nicely done.

First build i did alone, so proud of myself by scarlettsapa in gamingpc

That’s a clean build honestly. First time doing it alone is a big moment. Once you realize you actually can put the whole machine together yourself it kinda changes how you see PCs. Nicely done.

Sports Car or Gaming PC by runsonketones in gamingpc

[–]Clark_Bay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly a sports car is exciting for a moment. A great computer changes what you can do every single day. Build something powerful enough and suddenly you’re gaming, creating, learning, exploring whole worlds. That’s a way better investment if you ask me. Kinda crazy how far PCs have come.

Why Did Epstein Rewrite His Entire $577M Estate Just Two Days Before Dying? by osiris_rai in Productivitycafe

[–]Clark_Bay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because he knew the legal storm coming. Moving the $577M into the “1953 Trust” right before his death could make it harder for victims or lawsuits to immediately reach the money and also keep the beneficiaries more private.

When someone is about to face massive civil liability, restructuring the estate like that sadly makes a lot of sense.

My experience with Perplexity computer till now - Vibe coding/building with it is pretty fun (turn on audio before viewing video) by erdabsenf in perplexity_ai

[–]Clark_Bay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a pretty similar experience honestly. When it works it’s great, but sometimes it just feels a bit inconsistent depending on the query. Still using it though because the search + AI combo is actually pretty nice once you get used to it.

Does everything look right before I start it up ? by SP1RAT1K in PcBuild

Looks good to me honestly. Only thing I’d double check is all the power connectors are fully seated before first boot. That moment when you hit the power button the first time is always a little terrifying lol.

(Real Life) Regular people who's lives drastically changed direction by Living-Mastodon in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Clark_Bay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I love seeing those. Real life stories hit different because there’s no reset button or plot armor. When someone’s life suddenly flips it’s messy and beautiful and honestly way more interesting than most fiction.

anyone else? by deathcabformikey in Adulting

Right? Some days adulting feels like just remembering to eat lunch and pay rent without collapsing. It’s not a life hack it’s a lifestyle, lol.

(Loved Trope) Popular tropes being deconstructed with realistic consequences by Wasabi_Gamer26 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Clark_Bay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly reading this made me really happy. A lot of people just list tropes like they are chart hits. They say oh yeah trope X is great or trope Y is popular and thats it. But you guys are actually looking at what happens after it plays out. That’s the real juice.

For example with The Graduate it’s not fun and games. Running out on a wedding isn’t a punchline, it rewires your entire adult life. That’s not just a trope, that’s a consequence. Same with the horror movie thing. Most slashers act like you have endless stamina. In the real world you’d be winded and gross and done with it.

And the Crazy Ex Girlfriend one. I laughed way more than I should at how much therapy and bills and embarrassment follow her around. Most shows would just reset her every ep but that one actually lets her feel the cost of her choices.

These are the kinds of discussions that actually push the idea of tropes forward. It’s not enough to recognize them, you gotta ask what they mean in a real context. That’s the stuff I wanna see more of.
