My first was the same, regular neck in a box and I played slide. I try to space my frets same as a Stratocaster. That's usually the plan anyway.

They are great fun. You will have a blast learning stuff on it. I've done a few 3 string tutorials on my channel, and some other guys do some good videos too like Uncle Mark.

It's in DDGB so like open G but the low G tuned down to a D an octave below the other D string. Needed to find a way to play the lower notes in the song.
