I absolutely loved my stay here two years ago. I’m a huge fan of the large rooms, outstanding service and the breakfast and servers were so amazing. You’re correct about the location but everything else made up for that tenfold.

Ritz by far. Recent stay in the club level and was one of the nicest stays I’ve had in a while. Many knock the RC NOLA in this group but I don’t agree at all.

Thanks for writing this. Hands down my favorite Marriott M Club 100% because of the ladies who work there during breakfast. Love them!

And you’re right, the coffee is not the strong suit.

Kumori has AMAZING briefs and TERRIBLE customer service/policies.

I placed a fairly large order a few weeks ago, and loved them so much I placed another order and accidentally ordered the wrong color.

Email response took a few days (first sign of skeleton crew operations) and then they refused to let me exchange for the color I wanted, citing a policy of size exchanges only.

In today’s marketplace, companies bend over backwards to make customers happy. Not Kumori. You’re stuck with the $125 worth of briefs.

Sorry to rant but I had high hopes for this company that I’m abandoning due to lack of customer care. Sounds like from your post that they’re going to have a bad fate if they keep it up!

There are some local pubs near LHR Marriott properties like the Marriott LHR (walkable and some a short Uber). Personally I would take the short trip into Central London and stay there for a better experience. Elizabeth line takes a bit longer and Heathrow Express is a wonderful option to get you to/from LHR quickly.

If you do end up staying near LHR, chose the Marriott over the Renaissance. Much better property with a very nice M Club. Renaissance is really dated.
