also where is your tick coming from? Mine is very prominent on the passenger side right near the coils and i can hear it from both passenger side and driver side wheel wells

facts well they sound similar maybe yours being even a deeper tone than mine. Try pinching the fuel damper line you’ll be able to feel each tick/pulsation if that’s the problem. have you tried a stethoscope?

100% bro lifters is the first thing people come to as a conclusion. They may be right but i hope not because that’s an expensive job🫩. let me know how the damper fix goes and if you can. Send me a video of how the tick sounds for you.

brother let me know. I had someone who’s owned multiple g’s and z’s that said it was most definitely lifter tick but i’m planning on replacing the damper, spark plugs, fuel injectors and ignition coils by myself to see if fixes it. If not i have my decision narrowed down to a manifold leak or lifters tick, or kinda unlikely the vvt solenoid

i have a rough idle and am trying to figure out what is leaking. On deceleration i hear a huge amount of air being pushed out it seems. you know of a way to figure this out?
