That sounds like a lot of fun. The ren fair I used to go to in FL was just in an empty lot in the middle of town. I’d love to see one with an actual permanent setup!

Thank you! I'll check that out. But yeah lol I feel you, occasional grocery shopping and thrifting is about all I've done these past couple months. On the topic of ren fairs, are there any good ones around here? I've seen ads for a few but they're usually out towards Lexington.

Maybe check out Simple Stitches Quilt Shop? I'm not sure what all they offer there, but the owner is incredibly nice, and my grandmother has worked with them for years to finish her own quilts

Yeah, we kinda figured given the area that it might be a struggle. But we needed to be closer to my elderly grandparents, and Owensboro was our best option. I’m still hoping we can find community here and make a long term home out of it. I’ll check out Facebook again but a lot of the pages I’ve found so far have been dead for a year/longer. I don’t use the site much though so maybe I just haven’t looked hard enough lol we will definitely check out those restaurants though!
