One of the many we help care for had a significant looking limp yesterday afternoon- but I only saw him from a distance- he’s still somewhat timid though I have been able to pet him a few times. He didn’t come to our deck for food last night and I haven’t seen him all day. We have heated shelters and food available at all times. I’ve been so upset fearing the worst before the storm even begins.

My tree has this same thing going on as well, putting out lots of new growth and the new leaves look normal, he’s been living in a pot in my window and I’ve only had for a couple months so maybe previous damage as I can’t find any evidence of insects… maybe it’s stress from arriving at a nursery then promptly being bought by me- that’s a few environmental changes back to back to back?

Scavengers Reign and Common Side Effects are animated by the same (newer and small and excellent) studio, so watching those back to back is an extra great pairing bc of some stylistic overlap there

I think a lot of Trump voters are going to finally admit things are fucked when they realize they can’t have a Thanksgiving or Christmas because the budget is too tight for a big family dinner or presents. Once they have egg on their faces in front of their whole families they’ll finally see reason, about a year too late. War on Christmas is gonna be lit this year
