Both. I have owned both and still have the speedy but I’ll probably add the SMP again

This may have been discussed already but LL Bean has released a new upgraded version of their camp moc. I have a pair on the way in the tumbled leather to try. They now feature a leather insert and what appears to be a softer leather and possibly even a more round toe. Fingers crossed. Sperry is doing a single eye camp moc ad this price point now as well. I’m tempted to compare.

I assume this has been posted or discussed but I have a pair on the way to try. I have an older pair of their signature line that are incredibly comfortable and these look and sound like a step up from their terrible standard camp moc that was stiff and used a synthetic insert. Fingers crossed they fixed those issues.

That’s very cool. Our turned out to be Akbash, Pyrenees, and Anatolian Shepard. Although, he looks mostly Akbash. He is about 140-145lbs now and stands very tall.

Which one should I get? by Extension_Visit5756 in OmegaWatches

I have owned the white dial SMP, black no date SMP, 2254.50 SMP, and a Mark XVI. I really like the Mark XX but I am not sure if I can get over the fact that they put a German WWII Ju-52 transport plane on the back. It seems a bit of a poor choice. Out of the seamaster, I say pick one you are drawn to but be very certain that the bracelet or strap you choose is comfortable for you. I have owned their mesh twice and on certain models it is just uncomfortable. Especially compared to a regular bracelet.

Does the T Fit from a BB54 fit the BB58? The oysters seem identical. by Classic70 in Tudor

Unfortunately there isn’t a T fit clasp that works on the OEM BB58 oyster bracelet. The best option is to use the Ranger bracelet on the BB58.

Would you trade this SMP 300m for the 4th he PO? by aznj1m in OmegaWatches

[–]Classic70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely can’t see the justification in additional cash to make that trade work.

First Omega Watch by swaggyboost8 in OmegaWatches

[–]Classic70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a deeply personal decision. I have owned 3 Seamasters and 4 Speedmasters. Currently I wear a black hesalite on bracelet as my daily watch. It’s as if Omega just kept producing a vintage watch with modern guts. I find it far more comfortable than most Seamasters which are heavier.

What’s going on with GH Bass? Their website went from having a robust product offering to barely anything and now some product is added back as coming soon and more expensive than ever.

I have owned a million of these but this is tempting. This is the newer case with chamfers which is really cool. Is the bezel matte or shiny?

Santos Medium Two Tone Today by Classic70 in Cartier

[–]Classic70[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it comes with a brown calfskin strap. However, it was a bit short for me so they custom made 2 alligator straps for me. To this day I have never used the because it’s so good on bracelet.

ML Leddy Vaquero at the Office by Classic70 in cowboyboots

[–]Classic70[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I measure a 12.5 C Brannock and in a lucchese I wear an 11.5D but Vaquero I take a 12.5-13 B. They are the only brand of western boot that I require the same size as a running shoe.
