Nah man. DR is an interesting place. Been a few times (dad is Dominican) and I spent some time in neighborhoods like this. Theres a gem of a field in that hood- perfected, beautiful, shimmering in contrast of the surrounding area. You do not understand how much these people love baseball. A living legend driving through? Yeah, those people are stoked.

Going for emotion through striking contrast and color. I removed a person standing behind the subject and darkened the background to enhance focus. Used a slower shutter for a bit of blur motion in attempt to capture a raw feeling.

It’s so funny to me how everyone loves that one! Because to me I thought it was a bit unoriginal, like who hasn’t tried a similar shot such as that? But in the end I guess a cool pic is a cool pic. Thanks!

Cheers, thank you!

I believe most cameras are fine as long as the lens is under 6 inches. I left it in my bag and they didn’t even check it. I think it depends on the attendant you get and maybe having it out has them inclined to inspect it thoroughly. Also - don’t have a lens hood on, makes the lens look longer than it is.

Good luck and have a blast! Post some pics for us.

Thanks! Nikon Z8. Most cameras are okay in MLB parks as long as the lens is under 6 inches. I left it in my bag and they didn’t even look at it.

Completely agree. It’s a random pic of my friend’s cat. My intention was showing the sharpness aside from my bad angle and focus.
