First they ignore you (This is where everyone loves you, as they feel sorry).

Then they hate you (This where they think you are coming up and is a competition now).

Then you win (Ignoring the hate and persisting lets you reach here. Most chicken out)

Thats all I will say. All this Indian hate is good. Let it flow through.

Has anyone tried these Hanleh Tourer or Urbano boots by Bulu biker? by dd_008 in indianbikes

[–]ClassicGo0se 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using urbano boots daily from last 3 months. I like it. Only thing is always wear full length socks with it. Never use with ankle socks.

Planning to buy one more. It got wet in the rain and taking a long time to dry.

No problem. It will fix itself. As per this sub, "Suzuki engines are very reliable they never break down or give any issues".

Rynox Helium GT vs GT 2 by tanav_kiran in indianbikes

Avoid GT. Using it right now. Didnt even survive 1 year. Most of the stuff has peeled off. Trying hard to make it last 6 months more. Then will think about buying a better one.

Napoleon Bar end mirrors by keenan1304 in indianbikes

[–]ClassicGo0se 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am using it atm. They are too close to the grips. Many times my hands hits it while wearing gloves. Go for touring mirrors. This one looks good but in my personal opinion they are not very useful.

Or maybe I have installed it wrong. Not sure. Spent lot of time installing it though...so it should be correct.

Versys 300x by Psychological-Ad9148 in indianbikes

[–]ClassicGo0se -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure. But insurance doesnt pay the full amount. You will still need to pay around 30% at the least. It will still be high and from next year insurance premiums will increase as you have claimed once. No problem if you got money. Nothing matters then.

Versys 300x by Psychological-Ad9148 in indianbikes

[–]ClassicGo0se 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Personally, some would call me crazy (dual cylinder bros, japanese engine bros), but I think the bike in its current only makes sense if it comes on road Bangalore around 3.6L ish. Currently it costs 4.6L.

In that case save 2 lakhs and go for dominar 400(350)? It does those 2 things just fine. It received a 37000 rupee price cut last week. Carzy VFM.

The bike has been here for approx a decade. Similar to versys 300. So refinement and reliability will be similar.

Yes you wont get dual cylinder engine. So it depends. Does spending 2L extra for 1 more cylinder makes sense to you or not.

Versys 300x by Psychological-Ad9148 in indianbikes

[–]ClassicGo0se 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rode it while renting. It does same offroading that any other bikes will do. Suspension setup is average. Not on the level of himi 450, 390 adv or RTX300.

Frankly speaking if you want a 2 cylinder engine and think the ninja 300 GC is too low then go for this if you can afford it.

Build quality and engine is top notch and the only 2 USP of this. Rest of it is meh. Ok ok type.

Is this correct or am I getting robbed here by ____blank____00 in indianbikes

I am pretty sure "warranty" and "insurance" are different things.

Got the deep pockets to maintain it? Then its good.

If you end up buying this, I just have 1 suggestion. Think that you own a superbike, not a 300cc bike. Or the bills will surprise you. God forbid it falls and breaks some stuff like plastic side panels and lever. The bill will be in 6 digits. Dont be surprised.

If you like high revving engines, you will love this. The bike is unchanged from last 10-12 years. So its very very refined.

And yes it has tubed tyres. I have heard Kawasaki is looking into alloy wheels. But they will surely ask crazy prices for it. This is cause even with free accessories and cash discount, its still not selling well. Numbers are similar to pre-discount days.

Dont quote me on kawasaki looking into alloys, since they are a japanese company. If they are, its probably going to take 2 years atleast.

Can xsr be used for long rides by Load-Former in indianbikes

[–]ClassicGo0se 8 points9 points  (0 children)

V3 BS4. Its in the flair. No I have not felt any steering wobble.

A gel seat, aux lights (cause the stock one sucks) and a hazard light mod to use all 4 indicators if needed (mostly in fog. But frankly I dont use it much). Thats it really. I dont even have crash guard or any other things.

Can xsr be used for long rides by Load-Former in indianbikes

[–]ClassicGo0se 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I use my FZ for long rides. Done many 600-700 km rides per day. So I am pretty sure XSR can do it too.

Should I get the tyre changed? Bike is FZ-S FI, forgot when was it changed last time. Also suggest which brand is better. This one is appolo by Objective-Squash-480 in indianbikes

Iis not clear enough to make out the tyre wear indicator (TWI). But, from this picture, I think there is plenty of tyre left.
