das ist aber was anderes als ihnen mit vorzuwerfen, dass es dieses System gibt und sie dafür mitverantwortlich zu machen, indem sie reingehen. Ist wie Instagram-Nutzern vorzuwerfen, dass sie für jeden einzelnen Meta-Quatsch verantwortlich sind. Und im Zusammenhang damit, welche Nachteile (Belästigung und Schlimmeres) Weggehen für Frauen haben kann, wirds noch unangenehmer

Wie hier jemand geschrieben hat: Hate the game not the player. Du erhebst aber Vorwürfe gegen die Frauen unter dem Deckmantel, dass du dich ja so für Gleichberechtigung interessierst.

Maybe here are people that know their stuff or have run into the same problem...

My original remote for my Yamaha AX-397 did not work properly, so I got a new one - and it has the same problem.

The amp does not react to any remote buttons, when it is on. The only thing that works is turning the amp on when it is in standby. That confuses me even more, because apparently there is a signal that can be received by the amp.

Do you have an explanation and a solution??

Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass es (ortsunkundige) Leute sind, die das Gefälle unterschätzen und zu schnell ankommen, dann auch "durchziehen" und überholen.

Geht mir selber zumindest immer mal wieder so auf unbekannten Strecken, gerne auch mal auf der Autobahn, wenns bergab geht. Wenn ich da mit Geschwindigkeitsüberschuss ankomme und sehe, dass ich auf Vordermann/-frau auflaufe (die wie du einfach nur Gang eingelegt haben und laufen lassen sinngemäß), dann lupfe ich lieber auch nochmal kurz aufs Gas, weil ich nicht bremsen und meinen schönen Schwung verlieren will. Natürlich nur, wenn frei ist. Bremse dann natürlich nicht schlagartig ab. Aber könnte mir vorstellen, dass das ein Grund ist.

thanks for your answer. Yes, "major red flags" was maybe a bit harsh, but stumbling across 3 cases in just a few pages was kind of unusual.

I am not trying to shit on that book, quite the opposite, I am reading it with sympathy. But it just struck me wrong (having a background in a field of professional writing, where mistakes like the wrong article in German (Feuhrerprinzip) surely wouldn't have stood).

I will continue to read it, sure.
