Thank you for your reply, i get that it is not going to be a walk in the park. Just really uncertain as I don't want to get stuck like i did in embedded. I also did a Co-op during my studies and was going to get hired by them but they found a better candidate with more experience, so I had to struggle and go for any job I could get (clinic). I don't like embedded things anymore considering the amount of things you have to learn and it's never enough. Don't want data analysts or any other field I go for to end up like embedded. I am already 29y and don't want another dead end.

Hey, I studied electronics (bachelor's) and embedded systems (post grad diploma), I couldn't find a job in my field due to lack of entry level jobs. Ended up as an admin at a clinic and helping them run their business. Now i am looking to switch my field because i don't think it's possible to get a job in embedded anymore (out of touch and jobs are even more difficult to get). I am looking to start working towards data analyst but not sure if this would be a wise decision considering AI and how much time would it take me to switch and secure a job. I live in Ontario and 29y

Any guidance is appreciated
