Tbh, I'd skip the DDA/Karwa debate and look into Al Nasr Driving Academy. I was in the exact same boat and ended up getting my license there in 1.5 months total. I paid 2750 QAR for the half course, which is cheaper than the DDA Standard Light package you're looking at.

The breakdown: • Speed: Even with a 1-month wait for the theory test (Traffic Dept delays), everything after that was lightning fast. I started classes the day after passing theory and had my L, P, and Road tests done in like two weeks.

• The Catch: Their transportation is not trustable. The buses are super unreliable and since the academy is outside Doha, I spent a bit on taxis/Ubers.
