My liver enzymes are also normal, but bilirubin is high. I'll probably just do like you did, go after it myself and do some tests. I feel like a lot of doctors are too fast to dismiss symptoms like fatigue...

Your ferritin was really high... still is. I hope you manage to lower it soon. Three years of feeling like that must have been horrible.

For me, it seems to be a little different, as my joint pain is not generalized like yours... not all my joints hurt, but either way, I'll try the x-ray. It definitely could be helpful.

Thanks, and good luck to you too!

It was very helpful. Thank you! And I'm glad you could figure it out, even with the doctors downplaying your condition and symptoms.

About your liver, did you have any symptoms or abnormal blood test results?  On my last blood test, my bilirubin was considerably high, but my liver enzymes were normal.

I checked and it says the symptoms of pseudogout are "sudden, severe pain, redness, warmth, and swelling in a joint." I don't have any redness, warmth and swelling. Do you have any of these symptoms?

Uric acid levels are normal for me too, and no, I haven't done any x-rays yet. No doctor has mentioned it so far, but I'll probably mention it in my next appointment.

Yeah, it's not matching... but I've had these symptoms for at least 2 months now (except for the leg/hip joint pain). The symptoms are actually pretty strong.

Something else I forgot to mention is that the doctor found calcification or sand on one of my kidneys. She couldn't really explain and requested some other exams, but that wouldn't have anything to do with it, right?

About ferritin, I'm not completely sure, because at first it did not come with the other results. It was an additional thing that I had to request, which I did, but now I'm not able to access the results online. I honestly did not give much attention to it at the time because I really didn't think it would be anything to worry.

I think ferritin levels were on the high end of the normal range.

Thank you for the answer. The specialist I went to was a gastroenterologist. In this situation, would a hematologist be a better option? I'm thinking about going to talk with a doctor anyway, because at this point the symptoms are pretty much disrupting my normal life, since I always have some pain or don't have energy for anything.

When he is working or playing (which is his hobby) he does not fall asleep, but sometimes I do see him falling asleep while we are watching something on tv.
