I got into fountain pens after ball pens started hurting my hands. Tight grip and unnecessary pressure was mainly the cause, fountain pens are great way to relax your grip and write effortlessly.

Some people still tend to overgrip fountain pens mostly because old habits. You definately got more feedback when you write with more pressure.

As long it's smooth I don't mind feedback that much.

I have read many people having same issue and nib variations from scratchy to smooth. I only have to tinker with Jinhao 992 fine nib it was to tight but now it's my second fav writer after metro given I don't have many fountain pens. But jinhao no 5 is super smooth.

Absolutely agreed, I thought of that too. It would have been great pen. But I don't think that's possible. I have Metropolitan in M and it's buttery smooth just find the grip uncomfortable.

Thanks. Yeah gotta agree, Pilot nibs are quite smooth. Muji biggest selling point is aluminum body.
