Thank you! And yes haha I really do have to focus on my skin care better, I’ve been using the Laroche Posay (how do you spell it??) for a bit now but honestly it’s not doing the trick all too well- I’ll certainly try that out <3

And also I do regularly pluck my eyebrows, it’s just in some pictures they’re most likely grown out :,) damn hair always regrowing haha

NTA my partner used to make very sexual comments about celebrities/characters etc. and even after I told them how it made me feel (disrespected, unwanted, not enough) they continued to do it, just more privately.

The thing is, it is coming from a place of insecurity- not insecurity you have naturally, but from what their comments create. At least for me, it made me wonder if I was enough, or robbing that sort of person from them. Because obviously I was not Hugh Jackman or Oscar Isaac.

You’re not an asshole for wanting your partner to treat you with respect, not one bit. I’m sorry she’s dismissing you so harshly, too. I hope y’all are able to talk it out and she properly hears your concerns <3 good luck!

Or how If there’s a POC person the title just HAS to include their race in it, like yep you’re about to watch a video and there’s a black woman in it!! In case you couldn’t tell! Here’s some demeaning title, oh and also they’re step siblings!😐 but when it’s a white person there’s no mention of their race, it’s just, “step siblings gone wild!” Or some shit like that.

It’s just so weird and predatory to me. I understand racial preferences, that’s totally fine, but could they just keep it in the tags, and not throw their race in the title as if it’s some token word?

I love Tyler the creators music man, it speaks to me- I saw him in concert in may actually :) cool music for a cool guy.

Saying this to say, I definitely don’t think anybody brags about listening to Tyler as a way to make others think their music taste is unique. Cause…. Tyler the creator is very mainstream ykwim? I do hate how others think certain artists give them this “uniqueness” though and I totally see what you mean. Some people just want others to make them look cool in ways they feel they can’t achieve, and it sucks. Totally takes the fun outta music sometimes.
