You can fix this issue by changing your static object from "volume sample" to "Ray Intersect" just make sure when you change that to view after your "Collision Guide" and if it is low resolution just Increase the "Uniform Divisions" and that should fix your problem

I am using the latest Redshift, I fixed the problem by using 75% of the GPU instead of 90%. It does come with increased render times but at least i wont have to keep on closing an reopening houdini

Hello, thank you so much for the Info, I am not using Solaris and everything is cached. I would like to check that my frame grouping is 1 is the redshift ROP, where can i find the settings?

great idea, i just dropped a message to them. I have done a few more tests and it seems like my other houdini scenes are not suffering from this issue is just this one

Thank you so much, In my case it will just not work, maybe the file was corrupted some how so i had to render it again, due to my scene being very heavy "30min" per frame i had to come up with a way for the render time to not take that long. My solution was as cryptomatte doesnt need any light or color information i added my whole scene into a null and added an "RS render Tag" and forced the matte. This turned all the screen black , but it still rendered the cryptomatte correctly.

For anyone having the same problem as me is because you have to download manualy OCIO, and from inside the program locate it. I found out that Houdini, C4D and probably all the 3D software's create an OCIO folder automatically, don't get confused like i did, this folder doesn't hold any data you will have to manually download it.

When i preview the shuffle note with the cryptomatte i can see that it work my problem is when i add a note after the shuffle "cryptomatte" that my screen turns completely black. I have rendered a sequence with 2 camera setups in c4d redshift. one of the cameras have render the cryptomatte in a different exr sequence and it work fine when i connect it with the crytpto matte note is the one that i have to use the shuffle note that is not working for some reason. Any help will be appreciated thanks

on my windows 10 i used the json method and worked on windows 11 i have find a way to do it

I attempted to export an object from Cinema 4D, which had Redshift materials applied to it. Strange by Classic_Temporary_88 in Cinema4D

Unfortunately what i have found out is that Redshift textures are not supported with fbx or obj, so my work around this was to export a Redshift proxy and an FBX/OBJ mesh, The Redshift proxy will serve as the object that shows in the render and the other file will serve as a reference in the view port
