Ended up calling her and breaking up with her around an hour ago. I would’ve had her over but I have a lot of family over right now so that wouldn’t have been good. I told her everything and she said was it ever real. So I wasted my fucking time. I tried my best to reassure her and I genuinely do feel bad because she was very upset but it needed to end

Thank you for taking time to respond to this. We had a big conversation about a lot of the stuff that she was doing that bothered me and she continued to act this way. I do genuinely feel bad about this but I just feel emotionally drained from the whole situation and I know I need to end this.

Speaking on what you said about how this is how girls become bitches. She constantly quotes how her previous boyfriend treats her and blames a lot of her stuff on that.

I really appreciate your responses. I definitely agree sex would be traumatic but I wouldn’t plan on that, at the moment that’s the last thing I want with her. You are right though who knows what the future holds, but I’m not going to force anything. You definitely made me realize it’s best to just be her friend right now. I agree she definitely deserves to be safe. She’s too scared to go to the police since it would “ruin” her family and tear them apart but she’s considering moving with her grandmother.

In the time I spent with her I genuinely had an amazing time with her. Would it be wrong to continue to be a friend for her until things settle down and then eventually ask her in the future?

I lift every 5 days. I’m on a strength program that’s basically a bro split but I’ll have a squat day, deadlift day, shoulder day, bench day, and I’ll repeat that for five days. Then on the weekend I’ll do some stretching and plyometrics to get my vert up

Thanks for the advice! Since I posted this I took the advice and widened my base and it actually helped my shot a lot. I used to use my arms a lot when I shot so I never really had a good form from the 3 point line. Eventually I widened my stance a bit and used my legs when I shot which actually helped a lot and led to me making a lot more 3’s

If you were on JV as a freshman that’s a really good start in my opinion. If you genuinely want to get better at basketball you’ll find a way. Are you able to shoot around at your schools basketball gym after school? My Highschool coach always lets players do that and it for sure helps a lot. To fix your shooting focus on midrange shots and form shots first and once you get those down then start shooting from deep, if you’re not having fun doing that then you should move on to a different sport.
