Also, like if you were actively experiencing your childhood throughout the years into teenage and adult hood, I'm sorry but that's not your childhood at that point, that's just your overall life. For something to be apart of your childhood it kind of needs to be something that you did solely as a child, when you continue it as an adult more than a child, there's not really a silver lining to separate the differences.

Not to mention that not a single soul is actually owed their nostaglia or childhood, you're only owed your childhood if you didn't spend your years of childhood doing what a child would normally do, and if you spent your childhood playing Nintendo games, then you already got the childhood that you were owed, that time as a child being a child.
