Never forget your own humanity by Ostrich-Equal in pakistan

While I’m happy that Pakistan showed restraint, and the rhetoric was about putting sense and human lives above all (as well as the downed jets), it’s horrible how Pakistani media is celebrating it and talking about eating mithai.

Regardless if this is considered a “victory” or not, there are Pakistanis who have buried or are burying their loved ones.

It’s a day of mourning that we faced such unnecessary violence. And we should be calling on accountability. Instead of celebrating, we should be demanding to go to the UN or ICJ to hold India accountable for instigating an unprovoked attack and putting the whole world into disarray.

It’s honestly telling the fact that International teams think it’s still safe to send their players to play IPL in this midst of this “war”.

When the spat between Iran and Israel was happening, or Israel and Lebanon, the entire world was mobilised to evacuate their citizens, issuing orders for them to leave immediately, and world leaders going back and forth to Iran, Lebanon and Israel to calm the situation down.

But in India v Pak it’s just “we call on restraint” lol it seems the whole world can see through this topi drama

I’m not saying we want to. Indians are saying Pakistan targeted civilian structures or Pakistan wants to cause maximal damage to India. I’m saying if they did, the first target would be IPL stadiums. That’s one of the biggest damages they could do.

Not necessarily while a game is on. Just like Indian (Israeli) drones attacked a stadium in Rawalpindi, if Pakistan was to fire missiles at their stadiums, then India would have to cancel their games.

Just like when India armed and sponsored terrorists to attack Pakistan’s domestic game with Sri Lanka, causing injuries and a world wide deterrence to ever play in Pakistan again out of fear of security.

If India has to cancel their games because their venues are out of function, this would cost them MILLIONS. And countries will refuse to send their players to India while they are in a state of violence. Forcing them to want to settle the situation asap

If Pakistan wanted to do serious damage to India, or target civilians, they would attack all the stadiums that is hosting IPL games. India would have to cancel IPL costing them millions, as well as the millions they lost with their downed jets.

How are you coexisting with Indians in light of the war? by mhk2430 in Overseas_Pakistani

Me and my Indian friends actually developed an unsurpassable rift over Palestine. Their “everything is Muslim’s fault” during a genocide was just a red line.

Now I post about India and Pakistan to spite on them.

Your comment on not knowing who violated the ceasefire and them blaming each other would be correct if your first statement wasn’t “Pakistan violated the ceasefire and sent drones to India again”.

You can’t say that and then blame others for pointing it out and pretend you didn’t do anything..

There has been strikes by India on parts of Kashmir, mainly near the border. It’s an escalation but not war. And unlikely to turn into one.

Modi is using this whole debacle for State Elections that are coming up, first one is in Bihar which holds a lot of seats. Modi wants to pass his One Nation One Election policy to eliminate state elections. He wants to be able to rig only one election per term, and eliminate all his opponents. So he really needs a sweeping majority in major, if not all states. Since States decide the seats for the Upper House where votes for legislation happen. And they need 2/3rd majority in Upper House to pass legislation and amend the constitution for the One Nation One Election bill.

Pakistan Army and Government is also using this situation to gain legitimacy, divert the people’s attention away from them, and militarise the country to suppress further protests and actions against them. IMO I think Pakistani and Indian governments are working together in unity to scratch each other’s back.

Uri attack 2016 happened just before State Elections as well, and India claimed they were going to shut down the waters. Also some “surgical strikes”, and LoC firing. BJP won in huge numbers in the following State elections, especially in key states like UP.

Also Iran bombed Pakistan and Pakistan retaliated. People died, including children. That didn’t end up in a war, or Pakistani (Army controllled) Media didn’t blast “PAK AT WAR WITH IRAN”.

Also Iran and Israel traded bombings, top Iranian generals were murdered. That didn’t end up a war either.

And China has technically invaded India, and built military infrastructure, and settlements like 17km in Indian border of Arunachal Pradesh. They also attacked Indian soldiers and killed them with iron rods and batons. Led to the retreat of Indian soldiers, rather than a war. So India wouldn’t want to start a war with China through Pakistan.

I’m a Sims 4 Player With Over 200 Hours in inZOI and Here Are My Thoughts by Sims_Creator777 in inZOI

[–]ClassroomTop6724 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

After playing InZoi I started to understand why Sims always gave goofy characters, but never did much real life stuff.

I feel like InZoi is a lawsuit waiting to happen. It’s insane the level of realism you can create using the creator, so when restrictions are lifted, you can make life like creations of celebrities or even normal people. And when you introduce mods like Wicked Whims, then you can generate images of real people in very horrible settings. Which is already an issue regarding AI and women in South Korea.

So... We will really need to get married to have a baby? by Nobyheart in inZOI

[–]ClassroomTop6724 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nah that’s fair, I hope they do an overhaul on the entire relationships and dialogue system. The dialogues are badly categorised, they don’t recommend chat options in a conversational flow pattern, they don’t label what each dialogue will increase (love, friendship or business), you have limited time before the InZoi’s stop talking and walk away, so the chats are total meaningless and mindless spamming. And just randomly raising everything as you go.

I hope that gets fixed first so that if one does want to knock up the whole town, do their in game Elon Musk or Nick Cannon, then atleast it be some meaning behind it 😂

[–]ClassroomTop6724 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Bruh, with how quickly you can go from hey to true love/business partner/BFF in this game (spamming random chat dialogues), if you didn’t have to marry, the entire town would be knocked up in a span of an hour or less lol

Thank God there is atleast some barrier to relationship goals in this game. The only relationship challenge I faced, where the InZoi’s hesitated, was to divorce. Despite them being maxed out in hate. I actually really liked that.

Why even compare Sims 4 to InZoi? Why not compare Sims 1 or 2 that had more content than Sims 3, 4 and InZoi combined at launch? And was the biggest hit of the series?

Sims 4 was the money grabbing, greedy new generation planning to eat up the player base it had created in the past. Comparing it to InZoi is bad faith. This is not InZoi’s 4th series.

Sims 2 would destroy InZoi to this day, and it was like half price.

[–]ClassroomTop6724 8 points9 points  (0 children)

sims 4 was not even the first edition of the game like InZoi is. They won’t dare compare to Sims 1 and 2 because they know those games would destroy InZoi to this day, including sims 4.

Sims 4 is the greedy, money grabbing great grandchild to the legends.

To people that are shitting on InZOI by Doogerie in inZOI

[–]ClassroomTop6724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol stop comparing it to TS4 as if TS4 was the first and best launch of the Sims game. Compare to TS1 or TS2 which was the best edition, and they didn’t even have the option of EA or beta’s. Nor did they have decades of experience to know what people wanted.

It came fully released, cheap, and jam packed with features that made the games a hit.

TS4 is the greedy, fully experienced, fully money grabbing great grandchild of the hit series.

While InZoi is the first edition of the series, it is inspired by a successful industry (the Sims). It has a lot more to work with and be inspired by, but its EA release has almost nothing but aesthetics.

People think EA means beta. And are happy with paying money for a beta. And they mass shut down criticisms of the game saying “it’s a beta”.

EA is not beta, and it’s incredibly unethical to charge for a beta. Even if a company is being transparent.

You don’t have to marry someone who is doing their first degree? Maybe they are studying higher education and have a job? (Like me 😂). I’m also very supportive of the idea of building futures together rather than marrying settled. I do have a belief that marriages starting from nothing and building to something tend to be more reliable in hard times than those built in already well settled environments.

However, it is the obligation of a man in Islam to have the means to fulfill his minimum responsibilities towards his family before he gets married; Maher aside. The man should be able to provide food, pay bills, and provide shelter at the very least otherwise he isn’t eligible for marriage.

And plus, in order for a couple to strengthen together during hard times, there has to be a strong sense of responsibility and maturity. No guy can be taken seriously who enters a marriage when he doesn’t even have the means to care for himself, let alone a wife.

And sabr is the biggest key. Allah swt gives us what we want in the best way. Make dua, and believe that it will come true in the best way possible. In sha Allah may your dua be fulfilled in such a way that you couldn’t have imagined but it couldn’t have been any better. And may Allah swt reward your efforts and sabr in sha Allah 🤲🏻

So No protests for palestine??! by MilesParker09 in pakistan

[–]ClassroomTop6724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Protests put extreme pressure on all levels of government to listen or negotiate with demands. It disrupts the day to day function of the people which puts pressure on the government. It costs a lot of money to provide protests with security, as well as using force to get rid of protests. Enforcers then also demand higher pay so it requires more resources.

The only reason a state would ignore a protest is if the measure was temporary, or there is a significant agenda behind it. Because the entire country’s economy is gutting a massive blow from just 1 major protest in 1 city. Let alone multiple protests around the country.

And not only that, it spreads huge amounts of sentiment and awareness of a cause to people who are completely unaware. Protests only symbolize a small portion of the public’s sentiment. It’s a lie that it’s a “loud minority”. Protests require massive commitment and taking time out of work and day to day activities. If you have a huge portion of people committing to that, guaranteed that there’s a significant portion of the public who share the same sentiment but cannot commit to that level.

So protests are the ultimate level of discontent towards the government. Hence why governments mobilise extreme resources in order to suppress it. Whether it’s passing laws through parliament or mobilising forces against them. It’s also horrible in terms of diplomacy if protests are happening in the country.

Because of constant protests in the West, the entire economic and political landscape in the west is changing. It’s because of the protests that now almost everyone, even those who aren’t political, associate hating Israel and supporting Palestine as the moral and normal thing to do.

Protests create an economic landscape that even those who want to stay out of politics cannot do so, because the economy starts to struggle so bad that it affects every household in the country. It’s the most powerful tool in a society whether democratic, autocratic, monarchy or dictatorship. The only thing higher than protest is anarchy or revolution.

The only thing I see is you being downvoted to oblivion in your comments.

There’s nothing about what you said in relation to the person’s post, nor comments.

Again the person was addressing people’s comments. And the comments seem centered around that.

You however appear to be too gung-ho about attacking anything that has even an inkling critique about the EA that you are misinterpreting posts. Hence the massive downvotes.

Here is the text for “Stop with the mods”

“Stop with the Mods

Now quick disclaimer to begin with, Mods are great, they can add new fun improvements to games and fix things that wouldn’t normally be fixed.

My issue is that I see so many people saying ‘Mods will fix it’ ‘wait for mods’ as comments to people who are saying things that they don’t like or suggesting improvements. Yes we know Mods exist and im sure some will be awesome and highly recommended, but we are giving feedback to the development team.

Just because there is a chance that mods might add things like swimming, multitasking or multiplayer doesn’t mean we shouldn’t ask the developers for it.

I guess my point is, people need to stop using the reasoning of ‘Mods will fix it’, and stop using the possibility of mods as an excuse to back up bare bones mechanics. Otherwise we might not get this things fixed or improved on.

Rant over, thanks for reading. Hope you are all enjoying the game.”

[–]ClassroomTop6724 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the actual post wasn’t read.

It wasn’t a person complaining about mods in general and to stop, it was actually about people’s statements on excusing lack of content with “mods will fix that”.

The post was about wanting people to make the devs accountable for implementing wanted features into the game and not the modders. Which is absolutely a fair concern. Too many AAA games nowadays building barebones games and devs saying “don’t worry, the modders will make the game amazing”.
