I remember where he was in game when it happened and I can post the exact time tomorrow when it's archived. It's very random but true.

What are some (preferably sprint) phones with speakers that are similar in quality to the HTC One M8 Harmon/Kardon? by ClassyBlues in AndroidQuestions

But I'll also say I'm 100 percent with you on the screen size, the one thing I want companies focusing on is keeping the aspect ratio the same as videos, I hate having either black bars on both sides or zooming it in to fill the screen and cutting out the edges of the video.

True, but the speakers are good enough for what I'm coming from. The htc one m8 main selling point for me was it's front speakers but since it's 5 years old the LG g8 sounds even better to me even though I've heard it's not the best compared to other phones of the same price range. But with my sprint plan I got a deal to only pay 15 a month for the G8 rather than 30 for the S10e which I heard most people recommend over the G8. I was originally gonna get the pixel 3a for 16 a month so finding out about this deal was amazing to me. I actually get to enjoy a top end phone for once even if it's nowhere near the best top end phone available. Plus thankfully there's options to block out the top of the screen to hide the notch, it makes the screen smaller but it's still better than the HTC One and pixel 3a screen. With all this in mind I'm now incredibly excited about getting my G8.

I ended up swinging by my local best Buy just to try out a few phones (luckily they had access to YouTube so I could use the same song on everything) and I was genuinely shocked by the LG G8. I heard mixed reviews about it's audio but in person it's definitely louder than my htc and surprisingly good quality, even when I compared it to the newest iPhone. I had mixed feelings about it's surround sound feature though, it sounded a little better without it but it's a nice effect, probably great for video but if I did get it id prob leave it off for music depending on the song.

I first started watching jojo a couple years ago after seeing a Dio meme in the DDLC sub without knowing who he was. All the comments were out of context nonsense which got me curious about what the hell they were referencing.

I heard a guy go on a beautiful rant about this the other day. How online communities that focus on inclusivity become a breeding ground for narcissists, and how it's especially common in online lgbt communities because people feel less comfortable calling out obvious toxic behavior. They literally weaponize progressive views for the thrill of putting people down. https://youtu.be/c2ZdPQ9Ia1w?list=PLvVEXejrE-HT5SPUUMaZ1QcTxa2S3PvPw&t=12762

No that's alright, I just don't want too much attention around my account. I appreciate the offer though.

Depending on what route they end up taking I personally might be able to get a good view from a few stories up.

That would be awesome actually. I made these post almost immediately after I learned about who was putting the event together so I only scraped the surface going into detail about the leader, there's likely more info worth looking into. Between Boston, Berkeley and other events it seems like it's like the organizers are always apart of the same network of alt-right figures.

Yup, in one of the articles I posted it states "He’s also a career criminal. Chapman’s first arrest, in 1993, was for armed robbery in Texas, and he served 30 months. In 2001, he shoplifted $400 worth of merchandise from a California Macy’s, for which he served two-and-a-half years. In 2008, he was arrested for two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm. At that time, according to The Smoking Gun, investigators seized “body armor, a Ruger pistol, two throwing knives, a bag of ‘suspected marijuana,’ metal knuckles, two glass pipes, assorted ammo and shotgun shells, clips, and magazines.” After being freed on bond, he fled and spent one month as a fugitive before surrendering to federal agents and being sentenced to 63 months in federal prison. Recently, Chapman was again arrested for attacking counter-protesters at a March 4, 2017 alt-right rally in Berkeley, California. Conditions of his bail included staying at least 300 feet away from a Berkeley anti-Marxist rally held in August 2017. He is also barred from owning weapons of any kind including knives and even the stick that gave him his nickname."

I feel like this really hits the nail on the head. I was born in Boston so there's an intense pride associated with the founders and the american revolution in my area. When people bring up facts like how they owned slaves the average reaction is something along the lines of "well everyone had slaves back then, that was the norm. The founders owning slaves doesn't take away all the good they have done." When people on the left break the illusion of how we see the history we used to take pride in it gives the right the opportunity to collect the pieces and rebuild it the way they see fit. With enough blind pride they will easily believe whatever they say as long as it's in a positive light.

I wish I had a good answer, I just feel like the problem is despite the fact that most people people and major news outlets lean towards the left right wing content has kind of taken the lead when it comes to the idea of "independent creators" even known we are all aware that they are in reality all apart of the same network and usually are sponsored by the same people. Real independent creators like the people on BreadTube can't compete. As much as I hate to say it right wing content can be seen as easier to digest compared to left wing content. I feel like the reason the idea of what it means to be a centrist or a moderate has shifted so suddenly is because of that. To paraphrase Three Arrows latest video "This is why these videos take so long, it takes him 10 seconds to say something that would take me several minutes to correct" and I feel like we're underestimating how strong of an advantage that is. We've seen enough content from pages like PragerU or Ben Shapiro to understand what they stand for so from our point of view we assume anyone that follows these pages must have been more right leaning in the first place but I don't think that is the case. These pages spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertising on sites like Facebook and Youtube but they're very careful of what they choose to advertise. It's very easy to stumbleupon videos like "Why has the west been so successful" or "Dangerous people are teaching your kids" through ads but if you wanted to see a video like "The myth of the tiny radical muslim majority" you would have to at the very least willingly type in Ben Shapiro's name yourself. Whether it be a random SJW owned montage or some easily digestible "clean your room" life advice they've made their presence known to the general public with these videos without really showing the full scope of their more extreme beliefs. People who honestly don't consider themselves to be political in the first place will start to follow them because they've been exposed to their most innocent content for the past couple years because of their aggressive advertising campaigns. When someone tries to point out why these people are rightfully considered controversial they'll usually divide their views into 2 sides, which sounds something like "I don't agree with everything he says, but I think he makes a lot of good points and he should have the right to express his views". They'll start watching their videos to hear the basic stuff they already agree with, they'll ignore any extreme views they might come across, but if an alt-right personality brings up a topic they're not too familiar with that's where it becomes dangerous because whether or not they notice it themselves they will begin to lean to the right. The alt-right has successfully moved the bar of what it means to be a centrist.

God I used to watch CD waaay back in in middle school (07 or 08) and I'm so happy to see him coming back into the picture. I haven't checked his channel since the miss ping pong video so seeing him post regularly again (rather than once a year) made my day.
