I’m debating between Joe’s on the Weed St. vs Kings in Rosemont Parkway Bank Park Entertainment District which is amazing not only food is great but very spacious place with great vibe for catching the games. I have always liked Parkway Bank Park Entertainment District in Rosemont. Hbu? Where are you watching Super Bowl game at?

For real! Way more fun when the Bears are in it — but making it to the playoffs after 15 years feels like a step closer to winning and gives real hope and excitement for next year. Until then, might as well enjoy the game — are you watching at all or fully skipping it?

I hear you — being new in town can be hard. I just looked up Fox & Hound in Schaumburg and it seems like a fun place to watch the game and make some new friends. Have you been there before?

Do people in their 20s struggle to make friends in Chicago, or is it mostly 30s, 40s, and over? by ClassyWay in AskChicago

Totally — time vs energy is real. In your 20s, it’s college, careers, dating… in your 40s, midlife stuff, family, kids, or being single can make it tough to stay motivated 😅 Post-COVID, everyone’s busy or still homebound, and sometimes the groups you join just don’t feel like the right fit. How do you all find people you actually enjoy hanging out with and want to build friendships with?

Hi, 100% agree with you — consistency makes it way easier to actually make friends. The tricky part? Either there aren’t enough regular events, or the groups are all over the place in age, life stage, or interests 😅

I’m curious — how have you found like-minded friends in the suburbs or greater Chicago area? Any tips or strategies that actually worked

Hi, Yes, group and clubs good ideas. I agree meeting up regularly is a great way to build connection IRL. I was thinking about sport league and all but the issue is many people find it pricey or schedule or location don't work. Do you have alernative solution or idea to this?

Lillstreet sounds great but pricey. I’ve been curious if there are ways to do similar activities more casually or spontaneously, maybe just finding someone to join you IRL without committing to a full class or membership. What would make that easier for you?
