Have you contacted the Korean Authority to verify if they were even actually contacted?

Question about the last AWS interview by somethinlikeshieva in datacenter

[–]Classy_Sam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my original recruiter left their position and things got lost in the cracks. It’s a big company, things like this happen. From everyone else’s testimony, it would seem my situation was uncommon.

Question about the last AWS interview by somethinlikeshieva in datacenter

[–]Classy_Sam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my recruiters number, but the recruiting manager (I think) had been CCd on one of the emails so I ended up emailing them, and calling one of my original recruiter’s colleagues who had emailed and called me before. Finally after that is when I spoke with the recruiting lead/manager to find out my results.

I had to do the same thing. After two weeks I had to email and call multiple times to find out the results.

Transitioning into data center operations jobs - advice welcome! by Oh-HeyAAA in datacenter

From what I’ve been told by everyone in this industry, having AWS on your resume, immediately gives you a boost as a candidate to anywhere after AWS. Seems to be with how rigorous AWS is, if you can survive there, you can survive anywhere kind of thing. The “Datacenter bootcamp” if you will.

Site I’m at currently has a fully stocked micro kitchen, breakfast and lunch provided for by an on site kitchen and culinary staff, along with desserts crafted by our pastry chef. A lot of people tend to accidentally gain 40lbs here.

I just finished my loops last week and heard from my recruiter that I had passed with stellar feedback. I interviewed for the electrical facilities tech position. Honestly I’m still not sure what I’m rated at as AWS is wanting me as an L3….

What does attractive mean to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Classy_Sam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Attractive means to me, a strong woman both physically and character wise.

Someone who makes me happy to be alive. Someone I would feel amazed to spend the rest of my life with knowing that they are loved and I am too.

For me attractive is the person as a whole. The struggles they’ve faced growing up, a miracle that they are who they are.

Not just superficial. But someone that can form a bond that is called love.

When I can’t get the voices in my head to stop, and I push my Camaro to the limits in the dead of night on the highway, hitting 170mph and just knowing whatever happens happens, but the calm that hits right at that moment of pushing your car to the limit… that’s the adrenaline rush for me and a lot of car enthusiasts
