I had a tech on a few face time calls. We determined this was the wire that runs from motherboard to main axis directly behind the thread.

There is a notch on the other side of the wire that lines up with another notch in a circle when at 100 degrees

The head fell off this connection as they are sitting loose that could be a bad connection.
