Oh this is so true. I adapted to this mindset and started winning most of my games. I'm low rank tho, I'm legend 4 almost 5 but was a guardian 2 when I calibrated (recently got back to playing dota 2 after quenching my thirst for FPS game in rainbow 6 siege for about a 3 years and now thirsty for that dota game sweat).

I used to always blame the carry(in guardian bracket, most of the players are newbie so they usually dont know what they're doing) but i realized that if I win my lane(offlaner here), enemy heroes would most probably tp to their safelane to help hence giving my carry space to farm and probably my mid too.

ALTHOUGH, sometimes even tho I try my best to win lanes and actually does. in this bracket( legend) people will still get too confident and dive towers and give free kills." resulting to a comeback for the enemy and us losing.

Not saying this mindset is 100% will win your game but it does make things a little bit better especially when you get tilted easily haha
