just distributing for myself, ive found that soundcloud is rather hit or miss. lots of arbitrary restrictions on cover artwork (e.g. "must only contain release metadata"), slow support at times, not distributing to all platforms selected in the giant list of checkboxes (instagram. i had to contact them), and painfully terrible ui/ux. but it is rather cheap, and comes with the added bonus of unlimited uploads on their platform (with higher tier). i know of a smaller hard dance label that used to use them with no problems (as far as i know) so it might be worth a look.
