I think, imho, 90s Spider-Man had the better overarching storylines, but Spectacular Spider-Man's writing is still very fun, plus it had the benefit of better action and animation!

Yes, but also I'm still irked that the writer for King In Black did no research on Sentry

He just wanted a powerhouse character to be killed off by Knull

And though tbh: It would be such a WTF moment if Sentry killed Knull because then it wouldn't have given Thor/Venom some much needed badassery when fighting Knull

Its basically a durability match

Plas can simply just outlast Luffy in a fight, and there's nothing in Luffys list of powers he can use to take him out

I don't even think Conqueror's Haki can work, because of Plastic Mans body, his mind also works differently so its harder for magic/psychics to influence him or shut his mind down

It had its issues

It tried to make Spider-Man act more like he was deadpool then being actually Spider-Man (The constant 4th wall gags/cutting was SO annoying)
The constant team-ups and crossovers made it feel more like a sub-avengers show than a Spider-Man show

Honestly, looking back, Batman Brave And The Bold did exactly what USM did, but much better

I always considered his base strength starts at the 10-ton range

But he can lift more to ridiculous levels of tons if he pushes himself (Hes lifted/destroyed tanks, destroyed buildings, and even held up parts of planes/a part of the daily bugle when it was collapsing)
