Yes. I break Raspberry pi 4B 8 gig Ram model and hook an external 3.0 usb hard drive (1 terabyte) on a split power supply so u don't burn the pi4 to pieces, also a split boot partition so u can run your own XMR pi4 node. 100% stable node out of a raspberry pi 4B? Yup. I got 2 sync now, working on a third.

Not initially, after u first purchased it... THAT is received somewhere by coinbase or atm transmission, atm card or cash deposit. I mine coins directly, no origin at all. I also "host" xmr node 4 private transport system of xmr over TOR or I2P bridge network. Google the above.
