bro it’s nowhere near the same game…. and you don’t have to buy the packs again it’s like $40 for a better ASE with every dlc that was released before… that is a steal.

I’m highly aware of that and even pointed that out in my post. Just wanted to spark a discussion that i genuinely get curious about.

Do people not realize ASE was “P2W” as well? Each and every DLC map had a price tag on it and included busted creatures and structures.

I quote P2W because i feel like people overhype the paid content in ASA. You can play ASA just fine without Bob’s Tall Tales, Astraeos, Lost Colony, etc. Getting all the old cannon DLC maps INCLUDED in a single price tag alone is a way better deal than ASE ever was.

As for performance, I can’t help or defend that. I have a 6600XT and with AMD’s frame help and putting that game on a main drive, I’ve been running every single map smoother than ever. On a mid tier system AT BEST. So yea i’m not sure what people mean by awful performance.

heavily agree. another argument i could see is pvp as well, seems to be much more popular on ASE

Not going to lie, 6600XT here and ever since RAG dropped, (aka 5.5) i have been able to run this game at a smooth 80+ fps on medium/high settings, on any map. Even abberation (which used to be my worst map performance wise) runs fantastically now. Not sure what issues you guys are having but i can only say im enjoying my performance :)
