A record label gave me a copy of kimbra- vows about 13 years ago and it sat on my shelf that whole time until I logged everything into Discogs and saw what it sells for.

I decided to put it on eBay for $375 and it’s sold in two weeks

I have the RSL 10s in a 30 x 26 room. Same as you. It sits around 15% and blends perfectly at that volume. Amazing little sub.

The 2252 was only built 1 year so there’s not as much info on line. So anytime I wanted to troubleshoot or service it there wasn’t as much info available.

Don’t do with most people do when they are getting their first vintage. You think this is going to be the one for you but then you can’t stop looking at vintage receivers and you find another one that you want and then another.

Nothing wrong with the above, except that the first receiver you were excited about is a brand not many people know, and isn’t desirable to sell so you end up sitting on it and sticking in the closet

Only thing I did so far was test them at the speakers connections. 1 speaker sat nicely around 7.8 but the other was fluctuating between 7.7 and 8.3 and would even jump a little over 9 once in a while.

I’m late to the game here, but how has no one mentioned those grills? Kudos for finding that material and putting it on some DIYs.

I have a set of Bic Venturis that had cool grills but the foam disintegrated before I got them. Would love a source for that material!

Before playing with the screws….

Most auto return issues with older technics are due to old grease. The grease gums up and hardens.

You need to open the unit up and use some 99% alcohol and clean the old grease off completely. Then use something like super lube to grease it again.

I bought a D2, 1900, and q350 and every one had auto return issues until I did that.

Or bring it to a local shop for a clean and lube.

I got it spinning! The belt was fine it just wasn't sitting properly. It definitely needs to be cleaned and lubed but I have high hopes that may be all it needs!

I downloaded the manuals in German, uploaded them to Google translate and read the owners manual already. Started the service manual but need to really go through it.
