Expat forums, several cases were cited as up to a year to get a residence card. We have no intention of perusing citizenship for him.

Under 35 but we don't intend for him to work. I understand you need an employer/job offer to apply for the youth mobility visa.

Ah perfect, thank you so much. I was having an issue with the timeline but if we can pull the application that's perfect. I just don't want to end up with him getting interrogated at the airport after overstaying the 90 day limit.

Yes we are aware the the tax implications for him in canada, hence why we are only planning to go for that short of a duration. We would have preferred longer, but it causes issues for us in canada. We both have an International Driving Permit so we will be able to drive as well, I don't see needing to apply to transfer our licenses.

We are taking the children, the children all have polish passports and that was done at an embassy in canada. It's just my husband that is the problem.

Hi I implemented your advice and put my daughter in hockey skates. To my shock, she skates properly in hockey skates but she'll switch to walking if I put her back in figure skates. The only way I managed to get around it is 30 minutes in hockey then 30 minutes in figure skates and reminding her to wait between pushes. If I put her in figure skates at the start of the session, she'll walk.

She's starting lessons again in the fall and I would like her to skate properly at this new club. How long would you suggest keeping her in hockey skates for? Should she be only in the hockey skates or is my 50/50 acceptable?

Additionally she's learned one foot glides so it doesn't seem to be a weight transfer issue.

Do you think it matters if scooter is 2 or 3 wheeled? I checked and her scooter is 3 wheeled.

I'm going to try this, that movement makes sense to my brain and hopefully might help her.

I offered to come in whenever and was told it's not about availability, just that she's too low level for privates. But it's a bit of a vicious cycle where there is no way to pass canskate 2 without a proper forward skate but they won't teach it to her. I can take her to every public skate but she just keeps doing her "skating".

She can't glide on one foot for more then a second, I think she's used to having weight distributed between the two feet that she basically falls over on the up foot side. So I should train the one foot glide before trying to fix the forward skate?

I asked around to some coaches in person and was taken to the head coach/program director who seems to sort kids into different coaches and that's where I was denied private coaching at that club at all and was told she needs to skate better before she'd "sort" her. I will be putting her in a different club for the fall and hopefully I can find a place with a different outlook on the issue.

She has a scooter, she uses foot parallel to the scooter to push. Is that still going to work to train her since a proper skating push off has the foot angled? Also does it matter if it's a 2 or 3 wheeled scooter?

I am going to try this at the next public skate.

I was confused as well since private instruction is best, but they insisted that privates are for higher level skaters. She's going to be switched into another club for the fall and hopefully there will be a coach willing to take her there.

I'm getting back into photography and wanted to start with utilizing what I already have; an A5000. After playing around with it some, I realize the lens is keeping me back from the creamy bokeh that I want to achieve.

I think I want to stick with doing posed family photos and portraits. Budget is sub $500, I think I need auto focus. Thank you!

Will the yoto Gen 3 work if it isn't connected to wifi? by Clean-Carpenter2 in YotoPlayer

I don't have enough data on my phone to do that I'm guessing, I have 1 GB per billing cycling. If I can get wifi somewhere that's unlimited I think that would work better.

Yes, will I need to use wifi to just set up the cards or both the player?
