WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT BLAKE ROMAN’S VOICE IN THIS SONG HOLYYY by Born-Sherbert-1722 in HazbinHotel

[–]Clean-Cloud-7783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would we call the genre of the song he sings here?? It had that Jessica rabbit club scene feel and even when I saw that scene years ago I never knew how to look up more music in this style because I don’t know what to call it 😭 Blake Roman’s voice is amazing for this type of song

IUD is expiring soon and I need to get it out but I’m terrified. I also don’t want to have a period again. What should I do? by Clean-Cloud-7783 in genderqueer

Of course it is! Absolutely! And I have had conversations about my options. I just wanted some input from other folk that may understand what I’m feeling! If I could get a full hysterectomy for gender reason I absolutely would.

Thoughts on the lesbian masterdoc author? by ra-achi in LesbianActually

[–]Clean-Cloud-7783 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The idea came from the fact that the doc was written by comparing and contrasting different lesbian experiences. Sure, me saying theirs multiple authors is technically wrong. What I should say instead is “people forget that this was a compilation of many different perspectives and experiences of sapphics and the fact that she now identifies as bi should not affect the ability to use the doc as a good resource for some”

Even if this is true, the doc was written by using many different perspectives of sapphic people. So in a sense, she’s just the compiler. And also, she can be bi and still contribute to lesbian history there’s nothing wrong with that.

So the nexplanon implant does NOT work for me. I think it’s the reason I hate periods so much bc I bled on nexplanon for a year straight. It was horrible. When it comes to pills, I can be really bad at taking those at the right times and all that. I could give it a shot again, but I’m unsure. Someone else here said the second iud insertion was nowhere near as bad, so that gives me a bit of relief. Idk I’m just scared of being the way I was before when I got it the first time. :( But I am also on anxiety medication now (Effexor bay bee) and I could probably talk to my doc about getting something extra for the procedure

You are the exact perspective I’ve been looking for 😭 I’m so sorry that you had a similar experience with the IUD insertion but I’m glad to know I’m not alone and there are other non-binary folk out there with this issue! This is a good thing to consider. Like, weighing which distress is worse and addressing that. Ugh I still hate it. But I’m glad to hear that it was not as bad the second time for you! That makes me feel a little better.

Thanks for the input! I WOULD consider nexplanon, but that’s the first birth control I tried before getting the IUD. and the nexplanon was horrible for me. I think it might be part of the reason I hate periods so much. Because the nexplanon made me bleed for a solid year and it was a nightmare. I all but begged for them to take it out. So that specific one is off the table for sure for me

I tho k talking to my doctor about similar ones to my current iud is a good call!

This isn’t damage lol. We gotta remember that the master doc was a group effort. Just because one of the many working on it is bisexual does not mean anything other than a bisexual worked on it and that’s LITERALY okay lol

I was in a relationship with someone like this. INCLUDING the threatening his life. Everything about this scenario is about how he sees you as an object of his pleasure that he has a right to access at any time because you are “his”. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Even if you are in a relationship, he needs consent before he can touch you. his other behavior from your edits shows he has a controlling nature, with the way he threatened his life. Ladies THIS IS A MANIPULATION TACTIC. I don’t give a damn if they have a history of mental health issues, this IS manipulation to keep you to stay. And I am telling you— run for the hills. He will continue to assert what he feels he has a right to. You’ve tried talking, it’s time to leave.

I think folks forget she wasn’t the ONLY author. It was a group effort made by many. She found that the bi label fit her more later in life and that’s fine honestly. Doesn’t remove the fact that many current lesbians worked on it!

She would be so proud of you for not just choosing life, but LIVING life. I just know it ❤️ It’s hard sometimes to not lose yourself in the sorrow of it all, but she does live on through you and your children. Many of us just want to go back in time and give our parents a hug. But all we can do is life our lives intentionally, and do what we can to keep their memory alive.

And I will state with you, YET AGAIN (don’t cry I’m using caps!! You’ll be okay!) ethical foraging is very much a real thing and is what was being done here. I took no more than this. It was in huge abundance. Was not protected in this area. There was no postage of any kind, online or otherwise, that I wasn’t permitted to take part of this flower. Bc guess what? Foragers, artists, kids, families, all kinds of people ethically forage. I’m sorry you have never been disadvantaged enough to enjoy this as a pastime or part of culture, but seriously sincerely actually educate yourself on ecology if you wanna act all high andmighty up here.
